SFARMLS Super-Regional Update #2

Updated: Jan 23

Date: 2021-01-22 (3:50 p.m. Pacific Standard Time)

Status Update: New system continues to be fully operational. External data feeds are now fully operational, the number of vendors experiencing gaps is closing, Zillow is up and syncing fully.

Resolved Issues:

  1. Photo Loading - problems with "unauthorized" or "incorrect format" with photo upload have been resolved. You should now be able to add/edit and re-arrange photos for your listings without issue. If you can't please email us.

  2. Coming Soon Edit Dates - We have restored the settings to allows edits of On Market Date and to display the Status Info panel in your Coming Soon listings. It should now function properly for all users with listings in Coming Soon status. You can again edit CS listings to set the On Market Date to go-live. If you are still having a problem modifying coming soon dates, please still email us.

  3. Syndication - we have restored the data connection to Zillow as of 11:31 a.m. this morning and data is synchronizing. They anticipate having all of the active listings input by our members before end of day today. If you are a member here and you input your listing into our new Super-Regional SFARMLS, your active listing is going to Zillow.

Known Issues:

  1. Duplicate Checking in Multi-Unit situations (TIC/COOP) - we are currently experiencing a bug where you cannot add a new listing for a single unit with the same APN as another single unit listing (even when the specific Unit# or Street# values are different). We are working on fixing this input check bug as soon as possible. If you encounter an error and see "Duplicate Exists" email the MLS team and we will help you get it entered. This only applies to TIC, COOP and a very limited number of COND subtype listings.

  2. District/Subdistrict Assignment - values in lowercase for Subdistrict are not interpreted correctly in data-sync, input, or in search. Some of the listings imported into our system with a blank Subdistrict. We still have to help you fix these, please email us. In normal LISTING INPUT, you should not see this problem as the values are auto-populated. In SEARCH, make sure to put the Subdistrict letter in uppercase so that it functions properly.

  3. Reports (Multiple Properties showing up as Duplicates) - If you run a report across property types, the report sometimes print with duplicate copies of the listing..

  4. Reports (Enhancements) - Please keep sending these to us, we are queueing them up to be worked on as we go forward. We have already fixed issues with photo links and have an exciting update with maplinks coming out early next week.

Getting Help & Seeing Important Updates

As I'm sure you can imagine our support department is incredibly busy. We ask that you help us, help you, more efficiently by re-reading the "6 Common Things You May See" page, and then making sure that you:

  1. Email for support, avoid phoning. We are having a heavy load of calls - email gets you a place in the issue queue much faster than leaving a voicemail.

  2. Follow us on the Official Facebook Page for the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® which is located here (and is also a tile on the MLS Dashboard in the Quick Links panel).
